Pro Tennis Holiday Clinics
Green Ball & UTR Yellow Ball | Ambiwerra Tennis Centre
Two weeks of serious court time these September school holidays.
Our Pro Tennis Holiday Clinics are built for our academy players β those already training with us who are ready to put in real work over the break. Over eight mornings, players move through a structured program covering technique, tactics, movement and competitive point play: the things that actually change how you perform when it counts.
With a maximum of 1 coach to 4 players, every player gets genuine individual attention. That ratio is the difference between being fed balls and being properly coached. It means corrections happen in the moment, feedback is specific to each player, and nobody spends the session standing in a queue.

WHO IT'S FOR:
Aimed at our academy players β Green Ball players and all UTR Yellow Ball players (UTR 0 β 10), including players in our Pro Tennis Program.
Our programs are skill and standard based. If you're not sure whether this is the right clinic for your child, get in touch and we'll place them where they'll get the most out of the week.
COACH TO PLAYER RATIO:
Maximum of 1 coach to 4 players.
WHAT PLAYERS WILL WORK ON
Each day has its own theme, so players attending the full program cover the whole picture rather than repeating the same session:
- Serve and return β the two shots that start every point
- Forehand patterns and rally tolerance β building the weapon and the consistency to use it
- Backhand and defensive skills β staying in points you'd otherwise lose
- Net play and transition β finishing points and moving forward with intent
- Point construction β understanding why you're hitting each ball
- Serve +1 and return +1 β controlling the first strike
- Pressure and problem-solving β performing when the score matters
- Competition day β putting it all together in match play
HOW EACH SESSION RUNS
Sessions open with a dynamic warm-up and activation, then move into the technical and tactical focus of the day. From there players progress through live-ball drilling and pattern play, before finishing with point play β scoring formats and pressure games that put the day's work under real conditions. Every session ends with a short debrief so players leave knowing exactly what they worked on and what to take into their next session.

One flag on the ratio: 1:4 with a 16-player cap means four coaches on the floor every one of the eight mornings, which is a real rostering commitment on top of the two coloured ball coaches running 8:00β9:30. Worth checking against your team's availability over the break before the ratio goes on the website, since it becomes a promise to parents once it's published.

Remember, being prepared is the key to a successful and enjoyable camp experience!
Camp will kick off at 9:30 a.m sharp, we ask that players arrive at least 5 mins prior to allow rolls to be marked off and groupings for classes.
What is if rains?
We will SMS on the morning of the camp if rain occurs. As we have a number of off court activities including fitness, sports psychology and tennis workshops we can often continue the camp if rain is not set in.
If it is set in rain we will either offer a refund or a make up camp day as replacement.
