Why LifeTime Academy

⭐

National Talent Hub

Selected by Tennis Australia as one of only four National Talent Hubs in Queensland, aligned with TA’s Player Development pathway.

🏆

Elite coaching staff

A team that has developed world No. 1s Pat Rafter and Lleyton Hewitt, with former AIS Head Men’s Coach Graeme Brimblecombe and SASI Head Coach Roger Tyzzer.

🎯

Player-first development

Every player receives an individualised training plan and tournament schedule — no rigid templates, just their own path to peak performance.

💪

Complete performance team

On-court coaching integrated with strength & conditioning, mental performance and sports medicine with one of Australia’s leading tennis physiotherapists.

Our Philosophy

We blend world-class coaching with a deep understanding of the mindset required to succeed at the highest levels. Every drill, every session and every conversation forms part of a journey towards excellence.

Work ethic & accountability

Commitment comes from the player, not the coach. Coaches guide and mentor; players set their own goals and own their progress, on and off the court.

Training volume

Tennis Australia’s research recommends combined training and competition hours roughly equal to a player’s age — a 12-year-old, around 12 hours a week. Our programs are built to meet that workload.

Deliberate practice

Purposeful, effortful practice with clear goals and diary use. Training is tactically driven — decision-making, patterns of play and game style — not just hitting balls.
